A newcomer to the softball coaching ranks, Tingos joined the Dolphins staff in the winter of 2017, and will be working with the Dolphins principally with fielding and defense, as well as adding valuable insight to the recruiting avenues.
A former four-year baseball standout at Long Island University, Tingos also played in the Atlantic Baseball Confederation Collegiate Baseball League and the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League, and is currently the Dean of Students at P25R at Intermediate School 7 on Staten Island, but has stayed around the game since graduating LIU in 2010.
Beginning in 2011, Tingos became an assistant coach with LIU then parlayed that position to the Head Coach position with the New York Dynasty 16U and New York Prospects 15U squads in Staten Island from 2011-14. Â Tingos then moved on to coach Junior Varsity at Stuyvesant High School for a year before becoming the Junior Varsity Head Coach at Moore Catholic High School, a position he had held since 2015.
Tingos holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and a Master's Degree in Exercise Science, both from LIU.
