CSI freshman sensation Jacqueline Cautela easily walked away with CSI's Female Athlete of the Month honors for April, and the great play led into May as well with an MVP nod in the CUNYAC Postseason Tournament, where Cautela pitched every inning earning a 3-0 record with a 1.00 ERA.  In April, she earned a 9-3 overall mark with a 2.28 ERA, logging 73.2 innings pitched, allowing 61 hits and fanning 65 batters.  What's more is that Cautela was equally up to task at the plate, where she batted a stellar .403 with two homeruns, seven RBI amd 27 runs scored.
