For his tremendous four-game series this past week against ECC-riavls Queens College, Nick Cippoletti has been named the CSI Male Athlete of the Week for May 10, 2021. In four games against the Knights, Cippoletti hit safely in each of them, finishing 5-14 at the plate, good for a .357, getting walked once as well. Two of hits hits went for triples, as he added three RBI on the week as well, adding a double. Cippoletti mans the very busy shortstop position as well and he posted a team-best 22 assists in four games, with several highlight-reel worthy fielding stops. For the season, Cippoletti finalized his freshman year with a .261 average, and was the team leader in triples overall with three.
