Enjoying the best month of his three-year career, junior Kevon Murphy has been named CSI's Male Athlete of the Month for December, 2016.  The interior threat blossomed in the middle stages of the season.  He started on December 1 with a career-high 24 points against Stevens Tech, adding eight rebounds as well.  A few days later he hit on 21 points in a big win over CCNY and at Lehman College on December 9, he recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.  Murphy ended the month being named to the CSI Tournament of Heroes All-Tournament Team, as he collected 28 points and 20 rebounds through two games against Bridgewater College and Middlebury College.
