Box Score Women's basketball fell to Stevens Tech, 71-55, on Friday evening in Hoboken, NJ. The Dolphins dropped to a 4-6 record while the Ducks extended to 3-5.
After the Ducks jumped out to a four point lead with less than two minutes in, the Dolphins would answer with a 10 point run behind two

Nikki Fabozzi's three pointer gave CSI an eight point lead, 19-11 at the seven minute mark. In less than two minutes, the Ducks brought the game within one before finally taking the lead with 41 seconds remaining off of a Jillian Barrett layup. Another Ducks basket gave them a 29-26 lead to finish the half.
Holding the Dolphins to three points in the first four minutes helped the Ducks take a 10 point lead. Slowly bringing it back to CSi's side, Jackie Tocco's free throws and a Fabozzi three pointer brought CSI back within three, the closest they would be the rest of the game. The Ducks held CSI to five points in the remaining five minutes while they added 13 points to finish the game with their best lead of 16 points.
Dawn Garcia led the Ducks with 19 points and six rebounds. Barrett added 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Fabozzi led the Dolphins with 15 points while Hepworth added 12 points and six rebounds. Kartalis totaled 8 points and four steals.
The Dolphins will host Medgar Evers on Wednesday, January 4, at 5:30 pm. the CSi men will follow at 7:30 pm.
