CSI, which led in the match by as many as eight points, fell to 8-8 overall and 5-2 in the CUNYAC, while the Bloodhounds improved to 9-7, and 6-2, respectively.
CSI led most of the first half and was up as much as eight in the stanza on four occasions. The visiting Dolphins led for good in the period with just under five minutes gone by after an
Olivia Tierno lay-up that gave CSI a 12-10 lead in the initial stages of the contest. A

Victoria Gallinaro jumper gave CSI their final eight-point lead, 28-20, with 6:21 to go.
From there, the home squad steadily came back. A steady, 14-7 run over the final five minutes of the frame. Jamecia Forsythe was a catalyst in the run, connecting on a pair of baskets.
It took only 1:27 into the second frame before JJC was able to wrestle away the lead, when a Forsythe lay-up made it 36-35. After CSI took the lead again and extended it to four points, the Bloodhounds fired off a 10-2 run. CSI came right back, and two
Nikki Fabozzi baskets helped an 8-0 run get CSI back up 56-50 with just 6:14 to play.

Two free throws by Victoria Story gave JJC a 63-61, and they were able to ice the game at the line, as the Bloodhounds went 6-of-7 from the line in the final minute to help win the game. CSI's Tierno had an open-look three-pointer at the buzzer but her shot fell wide of the mark in the 67-64 loss.
