Players To Watch (CSI): Christina has been lights out for much of the season and is beginning to gain national recognition for her efforts. Pasaturo is averaging 22.3 points per game, placing her 10th in the nation all while leading the nation with 70 made three-point baskets. Pasaturo has also strung together 13 straight 20-plus point games which is a CSI school record and she will look to extend that record tonight.
Samantha Flecker will look to have a bounce back game after recording just a 10-point outing against CCNY. Flecker is second on the team in scoring with 14.9 points per game however she leads the squad with 7.8 rebounds per game.
Angelique Price is the second most efficient scorer on the squad, pouring in 13 points per game on 43% shooting from the floor.
Players To Watch (BC): Veronica Ganzi leads the Bearcats with 21.5 points per game this season and she put that on display when the Bearcats met the Dolphins. Ganzi lit up the floor for a season high 28 points enroute to the win over Staten Island. Kristen Podlovits also found success earlier in the season and added 26 points of her own. Shannon Barrett will battle down low against the Dolphins tonight as she is averaging a double-double this season with 13 points per game and 10 rebounds per game.
News & Notes: As of late the Bearcats have owned this series but the Dolphins won two straight prior to their loss at home this season. Since losing to Baruch, Staten Island has gone on a six game win streak with the closest margin of victory being just 16 points which came against CUNYAC rivals Brooklyn College. When the Dolphins travel this season they are averaging 76 points per game as a team which is one point high than their season average. Traveling also doesn't affect the Dolphins as they boast an 8-2 record when playing away from the CSI Sports & Recreation Center. The Dolphins will need to stop the Bearcats' three-point shooting tonight in order to not have the same result as their meeting earlier in the season where Baruch cashed in on 10 of their 24 three-point shots. The Dolphins' defense is ranked 19th in the nation, causing 25 turnovers per game.
