Players to Watch (CSI): First-year sophomore Adeola Latunji is continuing his recent tear and matched his season personal career high with another 27 points on Monday against Kean and yesterday was named the CUNYAC Player of the Week.  Latunji is averaging 14.9 points per game this season and is adding 5.4 rebounds per game which is tied for tops on the team.  Christian Taylor is the team's overall leader with 15.8 points per game, shooting a robust 56.7% from the floor as the team's primary point guard.  Robert Rossiter is next in line with 9.5 points per game, averaging 21.6 minutes per contest.  Raymond Savage has been on fire of late and is averaging 7.1 points per game while taking over the team lead with 23 three-pointers.  Senior Edin Bracic is also a deep threat with 22 three's this season and a 7.8 points per game average.
Players to Watch (BC): The Bulldogs are getting heavy production out of Ben Batash, who goes for 12.3 points per game with 3.5 rebounds per and 32 assists, which is good for second on the squad.  Maynard Grant is averaging 8.8 per game.  Henry O'Reilly and Michael Tesoriero are both averaging over eight points per game as well and have combined for 54 three-pointers between them so they will need to be accounted for in the backcourt.  Tesoriero is also the leading distributor at 64 assists this season and his 24 steals also leads the team by a wide margin.
News & Notes: CSI won both regular-season meetings last year when the two teams faced off, but before that CSI and Brooklyn had rotated wins in the last six meetings between them.  From 2011-15, CSI had ripped off 9 straight in the series, but since then CSI has been able to win just four of the last seven meetings.  It has been quite some time, however, since Brooklyn has been able to win on Staten Island.  The Bulldogs last won on CSI's home floor back in 2011, with CSI having won the last six in the series between the two sides.   Tonight marks only the third home conference game for the Dolphins who are 6-1 in CUNYAC play but only 1-1 at home against the conference.  BC is also struggling on the road this season, as they are just 1-7 overall away from their home floor.  They are 1-2 on the road against the CUNYAC.  After losing 10 in a row to start the season, Brooklyn is a respectable 3-2 in their last five games.  Part of the turnaround has been strong rebounding so look for that to be a factor.  BC is 3-4 this season when they win the rebounding war but are 0-8 when they do not.  That's important for the Dolphins too who have out-rebounded their last two opponents and have won those games by a combined 25 points.  Turnovers are another big stat line as CSI is 5-1 this season when forcing 20 turnovers in games and that have plagued Brooklyn, as they are 0-7 this season when they commit 15 or more turnovers in games.
