News & Notes: Tonight's game is a rematch of last year's CUNYAC Semifinal that was played at CCNY, a 69-43 CSI win. The two teams split their regular season series last year with both teams winning on the other's court. In fact, the teams have done that the past two years, and CSI hasn't beaten Lehman at home since the 2014-2015 season, a 58-52 win. Last year's win by CSI in the playoffs was their biggest over Lehman since January 7, 2014, when they defeated the Lightning, 91-64. This has been a very tight series. Prior to last year's playoff the prior seven meetings had been decided by 10 or less points. CSI is 14-7 all-time at home against Lehman, and the Dolphins are 3-1 at home this season, having won the last two on their home floor. Lehman is 3-2 on the road this season. The teams have shared two common opponents in John Jay and CCNY. Both teams defeated the two units. Against John Jay, Lehman won 70-36, while CSI posted a 104-41 win. Against CCNY, Lehman was victorious 74-59, while CSI defeated the Beavers, 66-48. Both teams pride themselves on forcing turnovers. Lehman is sixth in the nation in steals, and are forcing 28.7 turnovers per game, and are a +9.2 in that department. CSI's numbers are even more impressive. They are forcing 31.3 turnovers per game and are a +14.7 in that category.
