Batash will want to have a better shooting performance than he did his last time against the Dolphins as he converted just 5-of-18 attempts from the field. Michael Tesoriero tallied five assists and 9 points last time against the Dolphins and will look to improve those numbers on his home court in the rematch.Â
News & Notes: The Dolphins shot a red-hot 57% from the floor in the last meeting in January while holding Brooklyn to 38%. Staten Island also won the battle of the boards, edging out Brooklyn 48-34.  The men found a lot of success inside the paint in the last meeting, scoring 64 of their 99 points from inside while getting 42 points from their bench. In the last five outings against Brooklyn, the Dolphins have won four of five and three straight with the last loss coming in the CUNYAC semifinal in 2016. Brooklyn is averaging just 69 points per game this season while the Dolphins are pouring in an average of 77. In order for CSI to win the CUNYAC Regular Season title they will need a win tonight and a win over top-seeded Lehman College on Saturday, plus they will need Lehman to drop one of their two other CUNYAC games as well against either Medgar Evers tonight, or Hunter College next week. CSi will clinch second place with a win in its next two games or a split coupled with a Baruch College loss in any one of their final three CUNYAC games remaining on their schedule.
