Players to Watch (MEC): Darrell Ambersley has the lone goal for the Cougars this season which came against reigning CUNYAC champions, Lehman College. Ambersley and Jordan Coke are the two scoring threats as they both have six shots this season with Ambersley holding a 4-3 edge in shots on target. Carl-Henry Obeissant has been the main goalie for Medgar Evers, tallying five starts and allowing five goals per game with 35 saves.
News & Notes: The Dolphins have not lost to the Cougars since 2011 in Brooklyn, NY. Since then, Staten Island is on an eight-game win streak while boasting a 39-2 goal differential. Today's matchup will be between the top of the table, Staten Island, and bottom of the table, Medgar Evers College. The Cougars average just five shots a game and those will be tough to come by this afternoon against a stout Dolphins defense.
