All-Time Series: First Meeting
Players to Watch (CSI): Senior Lauren Smith continues to perform well for the Dolphins, and she has added to her team lead with seven assists so far this year.  She is also second on the team with five goals on 23 shots.  Mirsade Pelinkovic is also developing as a natural goal scorer and is building on a quality freshman season.  She now boasts four goals and five assists, moving up the latter with 18 shots.  Look for defenders like Adrianna Parello and Brianna DiStefano to be important factors today, as they also tend to lend to the attack when called upon.  Lizbeth Aparicio has started every game this season, spreading herself around the pitch in defensive and offensive positions and look for CUNYAC All-Star Catherine Mulligan to keep Neumman attackers neutralized.  Kaila DiBenedetto is boasting a .667 save percentage with 34 saves.
Players to Watch (NU): Neumann boasts a balanced offense, led by Danni Elman who has scored seven goals in eight starts this season.  Her goals are one better than Kaitlin Thomas, who is right behind with 26 total shots, netting two game-winners.  Look for Taylor Garman to also lend to the attack, as she has posted four goals on 12 shots.  Lexi Concklin, Emily Cooper and Morgan Ryan will also look to be a big factor on the pitch in various roles, holding down the defense while lending to the attack.  Anna Attardi has played every minute in goal for Neumann, and has a quality .704 save percentage with a 1.78 goals against average with 38 saves.
News & Notes: Today's matchup is the first ever between CSI and the Knights.  The Dolphins are a perfect 4-0 at home this season, winning those four contests by a 27-3 mark.  The Knights come in with a 1-2 overall mark on the road, but were a big winners their last time out on the road against Keystone College, 5-1.  CSI also defeated Keystone, 6-0, in what was their home opener back on September 8.
