All-Time Series: First Meeting
Players to Watch (CSI):  The Dolphins were able to stave off a late comeback attempt by Lehman College in their last match with Daniel Angulo and Carlos Montesinos providing the scoring CSI needed to earn the one-goal victory.  Philip Lefkowitz also regained the team lead in assists with his helper on the Angulo goal and he has served as one of the Dolphins primary playmakers each of the last two seasons.  Jahmali Peterson has also established himself as one of CSI's go-to goal scorers now second on the team with four, and with his third of the season on Monday, Montesinos joins Lefkowitz, Peterson and Lirim Gjonbalaj as the four Dolphins who have found the back of the net at least three times.  Defensively, Ryan Layman and Mohammedou Sow have provided stability and consistency in the back with the pair combining to have appeared in all but one game and logging nearly 1600 minutes.  In goal, Jake Foeldes once again earned the win against Lehman with his numbers vastly improving during the Dolphins' recent winning streak.  Christian Carucci also earned a win one week ago against Brooklyn and remains undefeated in his appearances thus far in 2019.
Players to Watch (WU):  The Wildcats' season got off to an 8-0 start, but in their last two games they have been outscored 3-1 with the results being a loss and a tie.  They will look to leading goal-scorer Lorne Bickley to help them get back on track as he has provided 14 of the team's 36 goals through their first ten contests.  Abdul Mansaray and Shawn Genus have also provided consistent scoring with the pair tallying six and five goals respectively.  The Wildcats have no shortage of playmakers to set up scoring chances either as four players have dished out at least four assists.  Fredrick Bentdal shares the team lead in that category with Genus, each with five, and both Ben Jordan and Mansaray have four.  Bentdal, along with Elliott Johnson and Callum McHale, have played key roles for the Wildcats defensively and have combined to make 28 of a possible 30 starts for a team that has allowed just eight goals in ten matches.  In between the pipes, Gabriel Prgomet has played nearly every minute having saved 71% of the shots he has faced and allowing .79 goals per game.
News & Notes: The Dolphins and Wildcats have never met before and CSI will travel nearly two hours on what will be their longest road trip of the season.  This meeting with the Wildcats will be the fourth of six meetings against Division II opponents for the Dolphins this season and they have gone 1-2 against D2 competition thus far.  A win in today's match would also tie the Dolphins longest winning streak from 2018, a season in which they set the program record for wins with 15.
What's Next?: Next up is another Division II opponent in Mercy College this Saturday when the Dolphins will once again be on the road.  Kickoff from Dobbs Ferry, NY will be at 3:00 PM.
