All-Time Series: First Meeting
Players to Watch (CSI):  The star of the show for the Dolphins this season has been senior Adeola Latunji, who just so happens to be coming off of a career-best 33-point effort against New York Tech that improved his season average to 22.0 points per game this season.  Latunji is shooting 50.8% as well from the field and 47% from long range (8-17).  As if that weren't enought, Latunji leads the team with 5.8 rebounds per game and seven total steals.  he is also shooting 94% from the free-throw line (16-17).  Andrew Kartalis is posting 9.3 points per contest and shares the team lead with Latunji for three-pointers with eight (8-20).  He is tied for third on the squad averaging 3.8 rebounds per game.  Joseph Zieris has been critical on the interior this season, posting 8.3 points per game, including 15 in the effort on Wednesday, and leads the team with five blocked shots.  Rigaud Destime (7.8 ppg.) and Austin Mick (6.8 ppg.) usually share duties at the point, combining for 27 of the Dolphins' 58 total assists.
Players to Watch (JWU):  Brian Hogan-Gary and Justin Bullock have been doing a lion's share of the lift with the Wildcats through the team's first four games.  Hogan Gary leads all with 20.5 points per game, shooting almost 46% from the field while collecting a team-best 11.8 rebounds per contest with 10 assists (second on the team).  Bullock is averaging 14.8 per contest with an even five rebounds per contest, he is also a team-best 11-28 from downtown.  Aireus Raspberry is next in line for the Wildcats with an even eight points per contest while leading the squad with 11 total assists.  Look for Chris Lugo to clog up the interior for JWU.  He is posting 2.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in limited duty while leading the team with six total blocks.
News & Notes: Today marks the first meeting in series-history between these two teams.JWU is an NCAA Division III institution that plays out of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.  They finished 13-13 a year ago, posting a 4-7 road record.  The teams did share one common opponent last year in Brooklyn College, where JWU prevailed, 75-66, while CSI won two four-point games over Brooklyn during the 2018-19 season.  After losing their first game of the season to York (PA), JWU have won their last three games, including their matchup over Eastern Connecticut State on Thursday, 78-61.  They are 1-0 on the road this season, having beaten Goucher University, 67-57, last weekend.
What's Next?:  The Dolphins will have a nice break before getting back to work next weekend, staying at home for a matchup against future East Coast Conference rivals St. Thomas Aquinas College at The Tank at 1 pm on Saturday, November 30.  JWU will have an even longer layoff, not picking up until Monday, December 2, when they face Bates College at 7 pm back in Rhode Island.
