Freshman Jada Rogers is next in line, averaging 8.8 points per game, adding 4.4 rebounds per game. The team's leader in the rebounding column is Deirdre Foster, who is posting 6.8 per game despite just 15.0 per contest. Look for Kristina Arvelo to try and spark the Dolphins with her long-range shot, as she leads the Dolphins with seven three-pointers this season on a team-best 28 shots fired.
Players to Watch (WAG): Emilija Krista Grava has been getting the job done for the Seahawks, averaging 18.3 points per game, adding 5.5 rebounds per contest, good for second on the team. Alex Cowan is next in line, averaging 13.7 points per game, as she has been the long-range threat with 14 three's in 30 attempts, good for a robust 47%. Khaleah Edwards has posted 11.2 points per game in one less game played, shooting 49% from the floor. She also leads the team with 6.8 rebounds per game. Look for Drayah Heyward to have a big role off of the bench, as she is averaging 17.7 minutes per game and is tied for second on the team with six steals.
News & Notes: These two teams opened their series three years ago and Wagner has won each of the meetings. Wagner won the first two meetings by a combined seven points, but ran away with last year's meeting by 27, 86-59. This is the third time in four years that the game is being played at Wagner's campus, where the Seahawks are 3-0 this season as opposed to 0-3 on the road. CSI is 0-3 on the road this season as well so they will be looking to right the ship in that category as well.
What's Next?: CSI will get their CUNYAC schedule underway next when they take on CCNY at The Tank on Tuesday at 5:30 pm, part of a CSI vs. CCNY doubleheader. As for Wagner, they will stay home and take on Stony Brook University on Sunday, December 15, at 1:00 pm.
