The College of Staten Island Swimming & Diving team hosts their final home meet of the season today when both the men and women take on Division II Adelphi University at 12 PM. It will also be Senior Day at The Tank and the Dolphins will honor a pair of graduating swimmers,
Victoria Musarella and
Peter Carle. The CSI women enter today's meet with a record of 7-4 while the men come in with a 5-3 mark.

Players to Watch (CSI): Michael Stora is pacing the Dolphins with 164 points on the season coming on fourteen first-place finishes and six second-place finishes in individual events. Senior
Peter Carle is right behind him with 121.5 points on seven individual first-place finishes and ten second-place finishes.
Michael Blacharski, and
Chris Ivanov have also eclipsed the 100-point mark with their performances in the pool while
Xavier Nicholson has done so on the diving board. Nicholson's ten top finishes is only second to Stora, and both Blacharksi and Ivanov have placed fifteen times in individual events good for a share of third on the men's side. On the women's side,
Kathleen Bridgman continues her impressive freshman campaign as she leads the Dolphins with 155 points. Sabaella Vaserman,
Gabriella Bartley, and
Melissa Poggioli have all surpassed 130 points as well.
Lisnette Solano's 18 placing performances is good for a share of second on the team with Poggioli, and they trail only Bridgman who has earned 20 medals.
Players to Watch (AU): Adelphi enters today's meet with a packed women's roster that includes nineteen swimmers while the men come in with only eight swimmers on their roster. With these two teams last meeting only three years ago there will be some members of both squads that have competed against the Dolphins before. For the CSI seniors that will be recognized today, they may have some familiarity with the four-years seniors from Adelphi as they would have faced them in their freshman seasons.
News and Notes: Though the two teams have met before, the Panthers will be the first Division II opponent CSI faces since the start of the three-year D2 provisional period that they entered earlier this year. This will also be the Dolphins final meet at The Tank this season where the men are 4-2 and the women are 6-2.
What's Next?: The Dolphins will next be in the pool over a full month from today's meet when they compete in the Metropolitan Swimming Championship beginning on February 20
th.
