The College of Staten Island Men's Basketball team will be going for the season sweep of CCNY when they hit the road to take on the Beavers tonight at 7 PM.  The 6-12 Dolphins will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak while the 0-17 Beavers are still in search of their first win of the season.

CSI @ CCNY AT-A-GLANCE
Matchup: College of Staten Island (6-12) vs. CCNY (0-17)
Where:  Nat Holman Gymnasium - New York, NY

Live Statshttps://ccnyathletics.com/sidearmstats/mbball/summary
All-Time Series: CSI leads, 62-8
Last Meeting: December 3, 2019, CSI won 80-67
Players to Watch (CSI):  The Dolphins offense has been largely dependent on the scoring of Adeola Latunji who is averaging 20.5 points per game on the season on 47.6% shooting to go along with a team-leading 6.9 rebounds per game.  Joseph Zieris has also stepped up his scoring as of late and is now in double-figures with 10.3 per game.  His 5.6 rebounds per contest is also second on the team behind only Latunji and his 48.6% mark from the field leads CSI.  Rigaud Destime and Austin Mick have both spent a lot of time at the point this season, but the Dolphins have also looked to them for scoring with the pair averaging 9.2 and 7.8 respectively.  Andrew Kartalisis third on the team in shooting among players with at least 89 attempts at 41.4%, but he filled a reserve role against John Jay on Saturday as James Delahanty got the start.  In what was possibly his most impactful performance of the season, Delahanty scored 9 points, pulled down 5 rebounds, and picked up 3 assists in only 23 minutes.
Players to Watch (CCNY): Like the Dolphins, the Beavers are led in scoring and rebounding by the same player as Yassine Sakhi is averaging 17.1 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.  Romello Rashad is right behind him with 15.9 per game and is also second on the team in rebounding at 6.9 per contest.  Isaiah Denard is the last of the three Beavers averaging double-figures and his 50 assists trail only Rashad's 53.  Daniel Piszczatowski has added another 9.1 points per game on a team-leading 46.7% shooting for a CCNY team that has shot nearly 40% from the field but only 29% from beyond the arc this season.
News & Notes:  The Dolphins have won nine straight games against the Beavers and have won as many as sixteen straight over CCNY from 1970 through 1987.  The last CCNY victory over the Dolphins came in January of 2016 when the Beavers knocked off CSI at The Tank 81-76.  The Beavers 0-17 record is not indicative of how many close games they have dropped thus far as seven of their seventeen defeats have been decided by fewer than seven points.  These include a 2-point loss to John Jay, a 7-point loss to Baruch, a 4-point loss to Medgar Evers, and a 3-point loss to York, all teams that have beaten the Dolphins.  As for CSI, they have not lost more than twelve games since the 2009-2010 season and they will be looking to avoid loss number thirteen tonight.
What's Next?:  Next up for the Dolphins is their second meeting of the season with the Cougars of Medgar Evers College this Saturday at 1 PM.  The men will lead off Saturday's doubleheader against the Cougars which will get underway following the Matty White Alumni Game that will tip-off at 11 AM.
