All-Time Series: CSI leads, 53-24
Last Meeting:  February 5, 2019 - CSI won, 79-52
Players to Watch (CSI):  Adeola Latunji provided the Dolphins with their only double-digit scoring effort against York on Monday and his 30-point performance increased his team leading points per game average to 22.2 on 50.5% shooting.  Joseph Zieris also continues to knock down a very efficient 46.2% of his attempts from the floor averaging 8.9 points per game and 5.2 rebounds, a total that is second only to Latunji's 6.9 boards per game.  Rigaud Destime and Austin Mick have split time facilitating the Dolphins offense with Destime scoring 8.9 per game and Mick adding another 7.1 .  The pair also accounts for the only two Dolphins that have eclipsed the 40 assist mark thus far with 41 and 45 respectively.  In the absence of Andrew Kartalis, the Dolphins turned to Bryan Gomez in the starting lineup int heir previous game, and despite connecting on only one of his four shot attempts, all three-pointers, he maintains a 40% mark from downtown (10-25) on the season.  Chris Velasquez and Krystian Kopec will also get significant minutes off the bench as the Dolphins only had seven players see the floor for at least ten minutes on Monday.
Players to Watch (HC):   It's once again George Keener that is leading the Hawks in scoring with 21.7 per game on an even more impressive 53.2% shooting.  On top of that, he has connected on 42% of his attempts from beyond the arc giving the Hawks a true three level scorer that CSI will have to contend with tonight.  However, Keener is only one of three players averaging double-figures for the Hawks as Gio Gabbidon has contributed 14.1 points per game and Jonah Bevacqua has scored another 10.1.  Both join Keener is shooting over 40% from the field as well for a Hawks team that has been very efficient from inside of the three-point line this season.  Hunter College is led on the glass by Luka Jakic with 6.8 rebounds per game to go along with 5.9 points, good for fourth on the team.  Danny Fusco rounds out the starting five and is the only Hawk aside from Keener with more than five three-point attempts that has hit on 40% of his shots from long-range.
News & Notes:  The Dolphins hold a significant advantage of over 30 wins in the all-time series with the Hawks which dates all the way back to 1977.  The Dolphins have also come away with the victory in the last six meetings against Hunter College and 17 of the last 18 matchups dating back to 2010.  Both teams come in shooting an identical 40.9% percent and allowing opponents to shoot just shy of 47%.  Both teams have also lost the rebounding battle, the Dolphins by approximately 12 per game and Hunter by 5.6 per game.  CSI will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak that extends back to the Tournament of Heroes Championship game on 12/28 while the Hawks will be in search of their first win since December 3rd against Medgar Evers.
What's Next?:  The Dolphins will return to The Tank for the first time since the Tournament of Heroes on Saturday when they face Brooklyn College this Saturday, January 11, at 3 PM.  As for Hunter, they will travel to face Lehman College on Friday for a 7 PM matchup.
