Staten Island, NY | The College of Staten Island Esports team ran their perfect ECC record to 4-0 tonight, thanks to a 2-0 win over Hood College.  CSI won on the opening map of Haven, 13-4, followed by a 13-5 win on the map of Split. 

In the opening match of Haven, CSI was defending first, and after assuming a modest 2-1 advantage, they reeled of eight-straight wins to cruise to a big lead before taking a 10-2 lead into the attacking half of play.  Hood put up a fight defending, but ultimately, CSI was able to take a 3-2 advantage on attack to win it overall, 13-4.   

CSI's Ryan Lu tallied 21 kills to lead all players, while Kyle Tordecilla was next in line with 18 kills. 

In the second match of Split, CSI started on defense again and took another 10-2 advantage before having to go on the attack.  Hood scored three-straight wins at one point, but CSI was able to take the last two rounds to win overall, 13-5.   

Stephen DeVito was the big scorer here, tallying 19 kills while Christian Dumadag scored 18 kills of his own. 

Now 4-0, CSI remained at the top of the ECC standings.  Their next test in Valorant will be a week from tonight, when they take on Molloy College.
