The College of Staten Island Men's Basketball team is looking to bounce back from their loss on Friday against Lehman when they take on Brooklyn College on the road tonight at 7 PM.  The Dolphins are now 8-14 following Friday's loss while the 9-12 Bulldogs come in having lost three straight games.

CSI @ BROOKLYN COLLEGE AT-A-GLANCE
Matchup: College of Staten Island (8-14) vs. Brooklyn College (9-12)
Where:  West Quad Gymnasium - Brooklyn, NY
Live Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pF-OzRsTC4s
All-Time Series: CSI leads, 46-17
Last Meeting:  January 11, 2020, Brooklyn won 77-60
Players to Watch (CSI):   Adeola Latunji is now averaging an even 21.0 points per game to lead the Dolphins and is still shooting a very efficient 48% from the field.  He also leads the team in rebounding with 6.9 per game, but Joseph Zieris is closing in on that number with 5.3 per game.  Zieris is also third on the team in scoring at 10.5 per game having just recently been passed on the list of CSI scoring leaders by the red-hot Andrew Kartalis who has scored at least 18 points in each of his last four games.  That includes a career-high 21 against York College and he has been the Dolphins best player at the offensive end of the floor since recently returning from injury.  Rigaud Destime is fourth on the team in scoring at 8.7 per game with Austin Mick close behind at 8.1 per game.  Mick has seen his shooting number rising quickly as of late as he is now shooting 41.1% from the field and a team-leading 38.3% from beyond the arc.
Players to Watch (BC):  Brooklyn does not have a single player who's numbers jump off the stat sheet, but they do have five players averaging double-figures.  They group is led by Jordan Wright's 11.5 per game, and Wright has shot 37.4% from the field and 34.9% from downtown.  Right behind him in scoring is Michael Tesoriero who has averaged 11.4 and is shooting a team-best 39.3% from three-point range.  Noah Shy is third in scoring with 11.1 per game and second in rebounding with 5.6 per game.  That rebounding total trails only Joevanny Dambreville who is scoring 10.7 points and pulling in 6.7 boards per game.  Rounding out the list of leading scorers for the Bulldogs is Anthony McClean who is fourth on the team with 10.8 points per game in 20 starts, a total second to only Wright who is the lone Brooklyn player to start all 21 games.
News & Notes:  These two teams met on January 10th in a game that the Brooklyn controlled throughout on their way to a 77-60 victory.  McClean had a strong game for the Bulldogs scoring 23 points on 7-12 from the field including 3-6 from long range.  Tesoriero added another 14 on 5-10 including 4-8 on three-point attempts and Shy contributed 11 points and 8 rebounds as well.  For the Dolphins, Latunji shot 4-13 with 12 points and 8 rebounds, Destime scored 14 on 6-12, and Zieris led the team with 16 on 6-9.  However, CSI was playing from behind for the majority of the game despite shooting nearly 42% from the field.  Brooklyn shot a very similar 41.4%, but their 9-24 shooting from beyond the arc propelled them to the seventeen-point win a victory that snapped a seven-game CSI winning streak against Brooklyn.
What's Next?:  The Dolphins will play the final two games of the season at home with the first of those two games coming on Wednesday night against Hunter College.  That matchup with the Hawks will tip-off at 7:30 PM with the Dolphins going for a sweep of the season series.
