The College of Staten Island Women's Basketball team is returning to the site where their season ended last year in the CUNYAC Tournament Semifinals as they go for their tenth straight win tonight when they take on Brooklyn College at 5 PM. The Dolphins are now 14-8 following Friday's big win over Lehman College while the 16-5 Bulldogs come in riding an eight-game winning streak of their own.

All-Time Series: CSI leads, 39-22

Players to Watch (CSI): The Dolphins now have a trio of players averaging double-figures as
Megan McEwan leads the way with 14.4 points per game,
Jada Rogers is second with 10.4 per game, and
Diana Todaro is third with an even 10 points to go along with 11.2 rebounds per game. All of them scored in double-digits against Lehman on Friday in the Dolphins' 52-point victory over the Lightning with
Kayla Schmitter, who has averaged 8.8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, joining them in reaching the ten-point mark as well.
Deidre Foster is second on the team to Todaro in rebounding with 7.5 per game and also sits right behind her in scoring with 9.0 per game, good for fourth on the team.
Brianna Robisky has also been a key contributor playing in 20 of the team's 22 games including eleven starts while
Tori Moylan is one of only five Dolphins to play in at least 21 contests.
Players to Watch (BC): Brooklyn is led in both scoring, rebounding and shooting percentage by Chanel Jemmott who is averaging just short of a double-double with 17.0 points and 9.9 rebounds per game while shooting 54.4% from the field. Taylor George is second on the team in scoring with 13.2 per game on 43.6% shooting and Ericka James is third with 10.1 per game on 43.2% shooting. James is also the team's best three-point shooter as she has connected on 43.3% of her attempts from beyond the arc. Fourth on the team in scoring is Dasha Goodman who is averaging 7.3 per game while also pulling in 5.6 rebounds per game, second only to Jemmott in that category. Sarah James has started all but one game for Brooklyn this year and has registered just over 5.0 points per game and just shy of 5.0 rebounds.
News & Notes: These two teams met one day short of exactly one month ago on January 10
th in a game that the Dolphins won 83-66, the first victory in their current nine-game winning streak. The loss to CSI is the only loss for the Bulldogs in their last 11 games and they have proceeded to win their last eight since that meeting at The Tank. Jemmott had a big game for Brooklyn in that one scoring 25 points and grabbing 7 boards on 10-15 from the floor. George and Goodman were also in double-figures with 13 and 10 respectively, but they shot a combined 6-19. In one of their most well-balanced scoring efforts of the season, the Dolphins had five players eclipse the ten-point mark and shot 45.8% from the floor and 40% from downtown. It was a huge game for
Deidre Foster who registered a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds on 8-16 shooting. On the season, the two teams are both shooting just over 40% from the field collectively, but the Bulldogs hold an advantage of about 2% from three-point range with their 32.7% mark. Both teams have done good work on the glass and have won the rebounding battle on a per-game basis by a comfortable margin. With the teams having won a combined 17 straight games and CSI returning to the gym where their final appearance in the CUNYAC Tournament ended, tonight's matchup, which could also be the last between the two teams, is one that could very be the marquee matchup on the Dolphins' schedule this year.
What's Next?: The Dolphins will play the final two games of the season at home, the first of which will be played against the last team that dealt CSI a loss, Hunter College. That matchup with the Hawks will tip-off on Wednesday night at 5:30 PM.
