In cooperation with the East Coast Conference and the City University of New York, in light of the latest news from the NCAA regarding COVID-19, the College of Staten Island is suspending all athletic competition and practices for its 16 intercollegiate sports for the remainder of the 2019-20 academic year, effective immediately.  

The college will continue to monitor the situation throughout the coming weeks and months, and questions regarding future athletic eligibility and seasons/semesters of competition will be answered by the NCAA in the coming days. 

Students with questions or concerns should reach out to the Athletics Office, which will remain open along with other service needs for students during the campus' institutional recess (March 14-18) and during the period of distance learning (March 19 - close of semester).
 
With regards to the CSI Sports & Recreation Center, the building has been closed for activity, effective immediately, but offices remain open.
 
Despite the closure of the Sports & Recreation Center, some rentals may proceed as scheduled.  Continue to check back for additional information regarding event and rental cancellations.
