The College of Staten Island Women's Basketball team suffered their worst loss of the season this afternoon when they fell to the Eagles of Post University by a score of 88-58. The loss drops CSI back below the .500 mark at 2-3 while the victory, the third-straight win for Post, improves the Eagles to 4-1.
KEY MOMENTS
Neither team was able to gain an advantage through the first seven minutes of the opening quarter and were tied at eleven with 3:03 remaining in the first. However, the Eagles seized control from that point forward and would go on a 16-6 run to take a ten-point lead. By the end of the first half, the Eagles had increased their lead to twenty-three points. The Post lead only grew the rest of the way as the Dolphins failed to mount another second-half comeback bid in the thirty-point defeat.

Kristina Arvelo had 11 points and
Jenalyse Alarcon finished with 10. CSI was 17-23 at the free-throw line and collected 39 rebounds, seven belonging to Massingue.
