CSI ESPORTS: ECC & ECAC FALL 2021 PLAYOFF PREVIEW

Staten Island, NY – The College of Staten Island Esports Playoffs for the Fall 2021 ECC & ECAC have been finalized and starts TONIGHT! CSI Earned two number one seeds (Valorant & Rocket League in ECC) and a number two and three seed in the ECC 1v1 SSBU league. In the ECAC, FIFA 21 (Amr Mousa) received the number eight seed while the SSBU team received a number 27 seed. ECAC Rocket League is awaiting their playoff matchup, though, they should receive a high seed. Below you will find all playoff matchup previews for each team/player this week and watch LIVE if applicable on CSI Esports Twitch OR CSI Esports Twitch 2.

Game Notes: ECAC: Best two out of three 9-Stock 3v3 Crew Battle ECC: Best three out of five 1v1 3-Stock Battle Format	ECAC: CSI's SSBU team received the number 27 seed among the 120 plus teams in competition this season, CSI was one of the 82 teams in the playoffs. They will face off against Loyola University Maryland who received the number 64 seed with a final record of 4-4. ECC: Nicholas Lam (ToonNick) finished the season undefeated yet received a number three seed, nonetheless, he will play the number 14 seeded Jon from D'Youville College who finished third in his group with a 6-2 record. Justin Pena (Yotin) also made the playoff scene as a number 12 seed with a 6-2 final record, he will face the number five seeded Dillin from NYIT who finished with a 7-1 record. Emmanual Santos (Blub) squeezed into the playoffs as a number 15 seed and will play the number two seeded Matthew from NYIT who went undefeated in his group, 8-0 on the season.

Game Notes: Best two out of three 1v1 Online Format	CSI's Amr Mousa (Mousey) has received the number eight seed and will face the number nine seeded John Jay College (Oscar Sanchez-Gomez) who also finished the season with a 5-3 record.

Game Notes: Best two out of three 1v1 Online Format	PS4: Chris Velasquez (CSI C Team) earned the number 15 playoff seed and will face the number two seeded University of Central Missouri (Trevor Rabe) who come into this one with a 6-1 regular season record. Xbox: Michael Ashley (CSI M Team) missed the final playoff seed cutoff this season and will try his luck again next year.

Game Notes: ECC & ECAC: Best three out of five, 3v3	ECC: The CSI Rocket League team in the ECC are the defending champions of the Spring 2021 season and will look to repeat as champions as they received the number seed finishing with a 7-1 overall record in the regular season. They will face the number four seeded NYIT Bears team who finished with a 6-2 regular season record and have not played the Dolphins during the regular season. ECAC: CSI will recieved the number eight seed out of the 77 teams that made the playoffs. CSI will await the winner of the round one matchup of #57 New England College versus the #72 Emory & Henry College, who both finished 4-4 in the regular season.

Game Notes: Best two out three games	CSI's Valorant team will look to repeat as Fall champions once more as they go undefeated in the regular season of the Fall 2021 season. CSI has not lost a game in Valorant in the ECC since it the program started in the Fall 2020 season when they won the championship in their first official season as an Esports program.
