CSI ESPORTS: WEEK SIX REVIEW + WEEK SEVEN PREVIEW

Staten Island, NY – Through Week Six of the ECC & ECAC Esports Fall 2021 season, CSI Esports teams are 32-18 collectively. CSI's Valorant team is stays undefeated now at, 6-0. CSI's Rocket League team is now 10-2, across both ECC & ECAC leagues. Below you will find every Esports match played in Week Six. In addition, find out what matchups are coming up this week and watch LIVE if applicable.

Week Six Results: ECAC: CSI 0, Fanshawe College 2 (7-9, 4-9 Stocks Taken)

ECAC: CSI's SSBU team comprised of six players sent out another new lineup for a match against a 4-1, Fanshawe College SSBU team. Though, CSI has succeeded lately, they fell to the Falcons, 2-0. The CSI SSBU team of Justin Pena (Yotin), Jeremiah Alonso (YoshiSonic35), and Keith Hardy II (Alondite) fought a hard battle in game one, though, came up short of two stocks for a final of 9-7 Stocks taken. In game two, Fanshawe seemed to have the upper hand and won a little bit easier for a final of 9-4 Stocks taken as the Falcons only needed two of their three players to end the match.  
 
ECC: In ECC 1v1 SSBU matchups, CSI's Nicholas Lam (ToonNick) defeated fellow CSI player Justin Pena (Yotin), 3-2, in a tight matchup between Dolphin players in the group. Emmanuel Santos (blub) picked up a forfeit win. James Handibode (Sly) picked a win against NYIT, 3-1. He is now tied for second with fellow Dolphin, Pena (Yotin).

Week Six Result: CSI 2, Scarlet Tempest from St. John's University 0 (3-0, 3-2, Game Scores)

Best two out of three 1v1 Online Format
CSI's Amr Mousa (Mousey) win his second straight game for his first two-game win streak of the season for him. In game, Mousa (Mousey) shutout his opponent in a, 3-0 game playing as FC Bayern. In game two, St. John's Rogelio Chavez choose a different team and made it a closer game, however, CSI's Mousa (Mousey) who came out with the same team was able to hold on for the win, in a 3-2 final score. He is now tied for third place in the ECAC FIFA 21 PS4 Fall Esports League.

PS4: Christopher Velasquez (CSI C Team) lost to College of Saint Rose's Kendall Thomas via a forfeit. This is Velasquez second straight loss and third in the last four games after a 2-0 start to the season.
 
 Xbox: Michael Ashley (CSI M Team) lost yet another game via a forfeit. He hopes to compete in a game for only the second time this season this coming week.

ECC & ECAC: Best three out of five, 3v3
ECC: CSI took a tight 3-2 match win against Molloy College, who came in tied with CSI for the top spot in the ECC. The win improves CSI to 5-1 on the season. In game one, it was a battle of positioning as both teams were vying for a good bounce for shot-on-goal. CSI took a, 2-1 lead with 90 seconds reaming and held on for the win. Ralphy Vargas (Driftzy) received the star of the game with a goal, the game winning assist and a crucial save. In game, it was another low scoring game, CSI won 2-0, as Maxim Kleyer (Muckz) scored an important insurance goal with seconds remaining in the game. Vargas (Driftzy) tallied four saves in game two. Game three & four went to Molloy College as both games were decided by one goal (1-2, 2-3OT) and tied several times. It only took Molloy 24 seconds of extra time to score the golden goal for a game four win that tied the series at 2-2. In game five, CSI's Kleyer (Muckz) went off scoring all five Dolphin goals in the game off some nice bounces from teammates for a final of 5-0 and the match win 3-2. With that final game, Kleyer (Muckz) lead CSI in total goals with nine. Vargas (Driftzy) lead CSI with eight total saves and Samuel Rozenfeld (Eleventeen) added three assists (two game five) and six total saves.
 
ECAC: CSI fresh off their ECC RL victory less than twenty minutes ago, returns to play their ECAC matchup against Loyola University Maryland and though it was not easy, CSI picked up another win this time in four games, 3-1. CSI now is 5-1 in the ECAC, playing some of their best RL action of the year. CSI dropped a tight one in game one, 2-3, as Loyola was able to score with under a minute remaining to break the 2-2 tie and seal the win. In game two, all three Dolphins got on the board and were up 4-0 before a final of 4-2 for CSI. Maxim Kleyer (Muckz) was the star of game two with two goals on two shots, two saves and an assist. In game three, CSI had a 3-0 lead with under 90 seconds remaining, though, Loyola would make it a one goal game, CSI's defense stepped up to seal the win, 3-2. Ralphy Vargas (Driftzy) received the star of the game with two assists and three saves. In game four, though the game was tied 2-2 in the first 40 seconds of play, CSI would take a 5-2 lead before a Loyola College player left the game with one minute and 15 seconds still left to play. The final of game four was 14-2. Maxim Kleyer (Muckz) led the team in total goals with 10. Vargas (Driftzy) led them in total saves with eight and total assists with six. Samuel Rozenfeld (Eleventeen) did a little of everything racking up seven goals, four assists and four saves.

Week Six Result: CSI 2, Molloy College A Team 0 (13-5, 13-6)
Date / Conference: Tuesday, November 4, 2021 / East Coast Conference (ECC)
Game Notes:
Best two out three games
CSI Valorant remains undefeated, handing Molloy College's A team their second loss of the ECC season in straight sets, 2-0. CSI won game one by a final of, 13-5. Christian Dumadag (Juicy) tallied 21 kills, five first bloods and three plants in game one. Andrew Aquino (Bread) added 15 kills and seven assisted kills, the most in game one. From the momentum of game one, the Dolphins sealed another win in game two, 13-6, with great teamwork and force. In game two it was, Aquino (Bread) who lead them in kills with 22 while Ryan Lu (Miruux) added 13 kills 10 assisted kills and five plants. Overall, the team had 47 assisted kills in game two, no Dolphin had less than five assisted kills. Across both games, no Dolphin had less than 11 kills per game. CSI next takes on a, 5-1 NYIT team, who suffered their first lost this past week.
