Staten Island, NY The College of Staten Island Women's Basketball team suffered another horrible loss this evening when they fell to the Firebirds of the University of The District of Columbia by a score of 42-62. The loss drops CSI to 3-11 overall and 1-6 in ECC play. The Dolphins will head to Chestnut Hill College this coming Monday. 

KEY MOMENTS

The Firebirds started off the game strongly and that continued for the entire game they never lost the lead. UDC went on a 7-0 run to start the game off. CSI did attempt a comeback they brought the game within four points going into halftime. However, the Firebird's lead only grew the rest of the way as the Dolphins failed to mount another second-half comeback in the twenty-point defeat.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE 

The Dolphins had only 1 double-digit scorer in today's game Ashley Lambert scored 21 points to lead the way. Brianna Moore did however grab 11 rebounds off the glass tonight. CSI only shot 27.8% from the floor and 32% from the three-point line. 

DOLPHIN OF THE GAME

Ashley Lambert led the Dolphins in scoring with 21 points, a season-high. She was also 4-5 at the free-throw line and grabbed 8 rebounds.
