Staten Island, NY – The College of Staten Island Esports Team played their second week of matchups in the East Coast Conference (ECC) Fall 2022 Esports League. All four teams (three titles) played a match last week, finishing week two with a 2-2 record overall. Valorant and Rocket League White picked up their first wins of the early season. Week 2 Results White: CSI 3, NYIT 0 (3-2, 2-0, 5-2)

Game Notes: CSI's RL White team, picked up their first win in the ECC season after a bye week in week one. CSI White defeated NYIT's White team in straight sets 3-0. In games one and two, it was Vargas (Driftzy) who tallied four goals in those two first wins. Kleyer (Mucks) also recorded four assists and two saves in both games. In game three, it was Kleyer (Mucks) who led them in goals in the deciding game with three. In the Open Division, CSI's RL Blue team lost their week two matchup against Farmingdale State College in straight sets 3-0. They are now even at .500 after two weeks of competition.

Game Notes: The Dolphins Valorant Esports picked up their first win of the Fall 2022 ECC Valorant Season following a week one bye week. They defeated St. Joseph's University LI in three games, 2-1. The Dolphins have many new faces on the team, yet that did not stop them from meshing right away and picking up a gritty win to start the season off on the right foot. This week the team will have their hands full as they play the defending champs NYIT, who lost their week one matchup to start, 0-1 on the season.

Game(s) Notes: CSI fell to NYIT in straight sets, 3-0. The loss pushed CSI's record in OW2 to an even .500 in the early season. NYIT was a formidable matchup as they were the Fall 202 OW ECC Champions. In Week one CSI defeated SNHU who had won their last two ECC OW championships. Expect this team to bounce back this week against a 1-1 Mercy College OW2 team, as many teams still adjust to the newly released OW2 Esports title.
