WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PREPARES TO OPEN SEASON WITH 2ND ITERATION OF CONFERENCE CHALLENGE

Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Women's Basketball Team will open their season on Saturday afternoon as they tip off the 2022-2023 campaign with the second iteration of the Conference Challenge. This year's event, sponsored by TLC Physical Therapy and Jimmy Max Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria, will feature four teams from three difference regional conferences. The Dolphins are entering the third season as members of the East Coast Conference, the first in which they will be eligible to qualify for the postseason. The Holy Family University Tigers and University of Bridgeport Purple Knights are both members of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference and will both face the Dolphins this weekend. Lastly, the Franklin Pierce University Ravens will be visiting The Tank this weekend representing the Northeast-10 Conference.

SCHEDULE
The 2022 Conference Challenge will tip off on Saturday following the conclusion of the Men's Basketball Tournament of Heroes. Tip off for Saturday's Conference Challenge opener between the Dolphins and the Tigers is scheduled for 5:00 PM. The entire schedule for the two-day event can be found below.

ADMISSION POLICY
The 2022 Women's Basketball Conference Challenge will be held at the Sports & Recreation Center, building 1R, on the campus of the College of Staten Island with day one being Saturday, November 12^th and day two being Sunday, November 13^th.  A CLEARED4 pass is required for entry into campus. Instructions on how to receive a pass can be found here.

Tickets are $5 for each day of the event and will be sold at the entrance to the facility beginning approximately one hour before tip-off of the first game each day.

CAN'T ATTEND?
All four games will be streamed on CSI Sportsnet via the ECC Network. The ECC Network app is available on most streaming and mobile devices and can be accessed via desktop here.
