Staten Island, NY – The College of Staten Island Esports Team completed their sixth week of matchups in the East Coast Conference (ECC) Fall 2022 Esports League. Two of the four teams competing had their bye week last week; while the RL Blue and OW2 teams picked up important wins as we head to the lather end of the ECC regular season. Game Notes: CSI's White RL team had a bye in their week six matchup as they rest and await the playoff matchups with one game remaining in the regular season. Meanwhile, CSI's Blue team won their second match, against Mercy College in three games, 3-0. CSI Blue now has a record of 2-4 in the ECC season now, trying for a big playoff push.

        Current Record: 4-2 | Tied for 3^rd
Game Notes: The Dolphins Valorant Esports had their bye week for the ECC season last week as they were able to rest and prepare for playoff seeding with one game left in the regular season. Even with the bye, CSI still holds third place overall in the conference standings and will play St. Joseph's College this week.

ECC OVERWATCH 2 | 5v5 best of 5 | 6 Schools in Competition

Week 6 Results: CSI 3, Southern New Hampshire University 0 (3-2, 3-0, 7-1)
        Current Record: 5-1 | 2^nd Overall
Game(s) Notes: CSI OW2 team picked up its fourth straight win and fifth overall on the season, defeating Southern New Hampshire University in straight sets, 3-0. In game one of the set, CSI was able to secure the objective with a total percentage control of 230-30. In games two & three, CSI was able to stop SNHU's attack and successfully escorted their payload, in both games, despite almost losing it in the process. Nonetheless, CSI won 3-0, in the match. This Friday, CSI will look to continue their win streak to five games, as they will take on a fellow ECC member school, the Cybears of New York Tech University, who come in with a 5-1 record themselves.
