Staten Island, NY | After a 3-3 start to their 2021-2022 campaign, the Dolphins will hit the road where they get set for a doubleheader matchup against Caldwell University. The first contest will begin at 2:30, and it will be followed by a 5:30 matchup.

Players to Watch (CSI): Although it is early in the season, the Dolphins have had some early standouts. Michael Kehoe is the early leader, hitting .667 on the season so far. Domenick Castiglione has a team-best nine hits and is tied for a team-high 17 at-bats. He is also leading CSI with 10 runs on his way to batting .529. Shendi Ulaj is leading the team in RBI's with five and is batting a third-best, .357. On the pitching mound, the Dolphins are being led by John Esposito and Pat Gardner. Esposito is a team best .40 in WHIP while also adding five strikeouts and two saves in the first six games. Gardner is 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA through four innings of play. Ryan Kehoe is leading CSI with eight strikeouts in seven innings played with an ERA of 10.29 which is good for a team's fifth best.

Players to Watch (CU): Caldwell University's host of CSI will be their first game of the season. Last season they were 15-15 (12-12 CACC). They have 16 returning players from last year.

News & Notes: These two schools will reopen a matchup that has laid dormant for over 20 years. The Cougars took the first matchup on 3/30/1998, 16-8, and a year later came out victorious, 13-3. Today is CSI's first matchup since the six-game slate at the Cal Ripken Experience last week. The Dolphins look to go above .500 for the first time this season.
