STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The College of Staten Island Athletics Department continued to progress both in competition and in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year. Academically, the Dolphins posted a 3.212 departmental grade point average (GPA) and a 3.157 GPA during the Spring 2026 semester. In addition, a program record of 95 student-athletes earned a spot on the East Coast Conference (ECC) Commissioner's Honor Roll, the highest total during CSI's Division II era.

As a department, the Dolphins recorded 15 student-athletes with a perfect 4.0 GPA and 70 student-athletes who finished with a GPA between 3.50 and 3.99. Overall, 126 student-athletes posted a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the academic year.

Women's Swimming & Diving led all programs with a department-best 3.648 cumulative GPA and featured four student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA. Men's Swimming & Diving ranked second with a 3.364 GPA, while Women's Soccer and Men's Soccer tied for third with a 3.360 GPA. Women's Soccer joined Women's Swimming & Diving with four student-athletes earning perfect 4.0 GPAs during the Spring 2026 semester.

To be named to the ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll, student-athletes competing in ECC-sponsored sports must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Student-athletes in non-ECC sponsored sports, such as Swimming & Diving, are required to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher to earn recognition.
