KEY MOMENTS
Game 1
The Knights got things started early as they tacked on three runs in the top of the first. After a hitless inning by CSI, the Knights would add on a sole run in the top of the second to open up a four-run advantage, 4-0. The Dolphins finally got on the board in the third. A Carcano single up the middle would set up a Carreon single to second base. Katerridge would single through the right side and Acosta flied one out to right field leading to an RBI as Carcano scored. CSI followed that up with another run in the bottom of the fourth behind a Moore single up the middle. Gallo popped one up to shortstop and Carcano singled through the left side for an RBI for a Moore score. This cut the Knights' lead to just two, 4-2. Unfortunately for the Dolphins, they would never scratch again as Queens would add a three-run seventh inning to their total and secure themselves a 7-2 victory.
Game 2
Both teams would be runless throughout the first five innings of this one. That was until the Dolphins finally scratched in the bottom of the sixth inning. This was sparked by a Carreon ground out to third base to start the inning. Carcano would then reach on an error by first base before Acosta would too ground out. Carcano advanced to second, and then to third on a passed ball. A Macpherson single would lead to an RBI as Carcano scored. The Knights failed to respond as the Dolphins went on to win narrowly, 1-0.
