Quarter Final Game: CSI's SSBU team of Sofronio Lorenzo (Frio), Jeremiah Alonso (YoshiSonic35), Nicholas Lam (ToonNick), and Justin Pena (Yotin) were defeated by Bay State College in straight sets. Up against the best team in the ECAC, CSI tried to hold their own against BSC. In game one CSI would send out Alonso (YoshiSonic35) first but would fall taking one stock off the opposing BSC player. Next Lam (ToonNick) would go out and would not be able to take down their opponent but would leave them with one stock. Lastly, Pena (Yotin) would be sent out and would take down BSC's first player. Up against their next player Pena (Yotin) would fall as BSC won game one. Game two, CSI would send out Lorenzo (Frio) first this time around. He would be taken out but would take two stocks of the opponent in the process. Next Pena would be sent out again and would finish the job but would lose two of his own stocks. Pena would fall against the next opponent on BSC. Alonso would be sent out last and would try to give the team a sigh of relief but would fall in a close set against BSC. BSC would take game two and the series. CSI will now fight next week for 3rd place.

Third Place Game: CSI's SSBU team played in the third-place consolation game but was defeated by the number two seed Florida Atlantic University. In game one, CSI would send out Lorenzo (Frio) first to take on the first opponent of FAU. Lorenzo (Frio) would fall in a close match but would take two stocks off of his opponent. Next, Lam (ToonNick) would be sent out and would take out the remaining stock. Against the following opponent, for FAU Lam (ToonNick) would fall but was able to take out two stocks. Next, Alonso (YoshiSonic35) would be sent out and would take out the remaining stock of FAU. Against the final player on FAU Alonso (YoshiSocic35) would fall and FAU would take game one. Game two things were a lot better. Lorenzo (Frio) would go on and take out the first player and the second player on FAU's team as well as one stock off of the last player. A total of seven stocks before being taken out. Unfortunately, CSI could not hold their own as FAU's last player had the same idea. Taking out all three CSI players to win the game. Game three, CSI would send out Lam (ToonNick) first and would ultimately fall bringing the opponent down to their last stock. Alonso (YoshiSonic35) would then be sent out and would take the remaining stock. Though, FAU's next player would take him down. Lastly, Lorenzo (Frio) would be sent out and would suffer the same demise as his teammates. Losing game three and the series. CSI placed 4th overall in the ECAC league. CSI's season in the ECAC may be over, but received an at Large Bid to the Collegiate Esports Commissioner's Cup in a weeks time. Stay Tuned!

Date / Conference: Wednesday, April 20 / East Coast Conference (ECC)
Game Notes:
ECC & ECAC: Best three out of five, 3v3 (Playoff Rules)
ECC: Due to a double forfeit during the semis, CSI's RL team played in the ECC RL Championship game against FSC's A team and picked up the victory in six games. The team of Samuel Rozenfeld (Eleventeen), Maxim Kleyer (Mucks), and Ralphy Vargas (Driftzy) made their presence felt from the start of game one. CSI took an early 3-0 lead before FSC would score one for a final of 4-1. In game two, CSI would trail 2-0 for nearly the entire game until the final 36 seconds when Kleyer (Mucks) would score their first goal of game two. However, FSC would stay the course and defend well enough for the victory. FSC would gain the advantage in game three as well shutting out CSI 4-0 to take a 2-1 series lead. Game four would go into overtime with the game tied at 2-2. It would take CSI plus 1:16 in OT before Vargas (Driftzy) connected on a double-tap goal to win the game, 3-2. With the series tied now at 2-2 in the best of seven, FSC would score first in game five, however, a few mistakes by FSC would allow CSI to get in rhythm again and scored three goals while keeping FSC at bay with only one goal for a final of 3-1. CSI would take an early lead in game six, though, FSC would come back to tie it until CSI strung together a few goals in the final minute of play to seal the game six win 4-1 and the series win, 4-2 and named the Spring 2022 RL ECC Esports Champions for the third straight year! Vargas (Driftzy) would lead the team in goals with eight total, including six in the last two games. Rozenfeld (Eleventeen) would lead them in saves with 10 while Kleyer (Mucks) would fill up the stat sheet recording four goals, four assists, and seven saves across all games played in the series win.

Playoff Semis + Third Place Game Results: CSI 1 vs Molloy College 3 – Semi-Finals
CSI 3 vs D'Youville University 0 – Third Place Game
Date / Conference: Tuesday, April 19, 2022 – 6:00 PM
Saturday, April 23, 2022 – 6:00 PM / East Coast Conference (ECC)
Game Notes:
Best two out of three, 3v3
CSI's Overwatch team of Shane Drucker (Weast), Younan Ibrahim (Yawn), James Handibode (Sly), Elizabeth Garrison (Lizzie), Andrew Shinoda (Bioactive1), and Alyssa Ramharracksingh (RamsZer0) were defeated by Molloy College in the semi-finals, though, would defeat D'Youville College for third place overall. In their game against Molly College, in game one round one CSI after being down by one would bring it back to tie the series and bring it to a game three. Both teams would try to attack the objective to take control. It would be MC that would rush down and take control not giving CSI a chance to take it back. Ending the game 100%-0%. Game one went to MC. In game two CSI would try to attack objective A from MC and then push the payload as far as they can. They pushed hard and took an early lead. However, MC would make a comeback and would tie it back up and would end up taking the game, getting a team wipe in the process. In game three CSI again would attack objective A, this time around we saw a change in their strategy. Taking an early lead again after taking MC's objective twice the game mode would then flip, and it would be CSI defending for the last round. CSI would succeed and take game three. In game four, it would be time to escort the payload. CSI would take it more than halfway before time ran out. Now all they needed to do was to keep MC from pushing farther than they did. However, MC pushed, and CSI could not keep up with them. MC would push farther and take the game and series.

CSI would stay resilient and play for third place overall in their game against D'Youville College. In game one both teams would have to attack objective A. It would be CSI that would take an early lead. DYU would try to make a push but would fall in the process giving CSI the round 100%-21%. Round two we would see about the same as CSI would again take an early lead and keep DYU at bay. CSI would keep their defense up and would ultimately win the game 100%-38%. In game two CSI would try to attack and defend their objective and payload. When it was CSI's turn to defend their objective, they would put their defense up and secure the win. Not letting DYU get anywhere near the objective. When it was time to escort the payload CSI would push it farther than DYU did and would end up taking game two. In game three CSI would defend and attack their objective. When attacking, CSI would get several kills and would end up taking the objective. CSI had a team wipe as well. When defending the objective CSI would lose their footing and have their objective taken over. Tied 1-1, entering the last round CSI would attack and would get another team wipe and would take control of the objective and end up with the series game and series win.
FINAL Standings:      5-6 | SEASON COMPLETE, Earned third Place overall | Four teams in ECC Competition

ECC Semi-Finals Results: CSI 1 vs Farmingdale State College-Green Team 2 (13-11, 4-13, 14-16)
Date / Conference: Thursday, April 14 / East Coast Conference (ECC)
Game Notes:
Best two out of three, 3v3
CSI's Valorant team of Andrew Aquino (DubbyD), Kyle Collins (7iq), Fadlan Cekainiku (Yedi), Eric Lin (Auth3nticReyna), and Erik Davis (c0ld) saw their season come to an end in the ECC semi-finals game by the hands of Farmingdale State College's Green Team, 2-1. The team did not go down without a fight. CSI previously beat FSC's Green Team earlier in the season, two games to one which was the only match in the season where CSI lost a single game before losing their only match against NYIT's Yellow Team the very next week. FSC came in prepared even after CSI took game one by a final of 13-11. Cekainiku (Yedi) led the team with six first-bloods to go along with 19 Kills while teammate Collins (7iq) had a team-high of 20 kills and eight assisted kills for the game one victory. In game two, FSC successfully planted the bomb eight times in route to a 13-4 win to tie the series at 1-1. Aquino (DubbyD) was the only Dolphin in double-figure kills with 11. Game three was an epic game as both teams traded kills and leads throughout the game. CSI had three players with 20 or more kills, though, it wasn't enough. Lin (Auth3nticReyna) did all he could with team-highs of 28 kills and six first-bloods. FSC's team had also had three players with 20+ kills but also one (CHIEF SOSA) with 30 kills. CSI fell in the final game by two, 16-14. CSI had a great season despite losing one of their top players last year, expect them to be back in contention next season!
