GAMEDAY: BASEBALL CONCLUDES FOUR-GAME SERIES AGAINST MOLLOY

Rockville Centre, NY - The College of Staten Island Baseball Team concludes a four-game series with the Molloy University Lions this afternoon as they head to Rockville Centre for a 3:30 PM matchup. The Dolphins come in 8-14 on the season and 2-5 against the East Coast Conference following two losses in yesterday's doubleheader against the Lions. Molloy comes in in 18-10 overall and 5-1 against conference opponents.

The Dolphins picked up a decisive win on Friday against the Lions, but Molloy exacted some revenge with a sweep of yesterday's doubleheader. After the Dolphins took a 3-2 lead in game one, the Lions scored the next nine runs in a 12-3 victory. In game two, the Dolphins led 7-4 entering the seventh, but once again Molloy came from behind to win 8-7 in ten innings.

After collecting just four hits on Friday, the Lions erupted for 27 hits in the two games yesterday. Anthony Manisero had three hits in game one and three different Lions had three hits in the second game. Tom Lebrecht also had 3 RBI's to help lead Molloy to the come-from-behind win in game two. For the Dolphins, A.J. Vigliotti was 5-5 in game two as he continued his remarkable freshman season with yet another multiple-hit performance. Shendi Ulaj also had three hits in the first game and Vincent Weigele joined Vigliotti with a pair of hits in game one.
