GAMEDAY: WOMEN'S SOCCER HOSTS WINTER COAT DRIVE AHEAD OF CONFERENCE MATCHUP WITH MERCY

Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Women's Soccer Team is back home today as they continue conference play against Mercy University. The Dolphins enter the day 0-7-2 on the year and 0-3-1 against the ECC following a 4-2 loss at Queens one week ago. The Mavericks are 6-4-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play coming off a 3-0 victory over Chestnut Hill. The Mavericks have outscored the Dolphins 11-1 in three games all-time, but last year's meeting was decided by just a single goal in a 2-1 Mercy win. Currently three points out of the final ECC playoff spot, the Dolphins will be looking to re-insert themselves right back into the playoff picture with a win. Following today's game, they will face the University of New Haven on Wednesday. After that, the team will play back-to-back conference games with a spot in the postseason on the line.

Today at the CSI Outdoor Track and Field Complex, CSI Women's Soccer will be hosting a winter coat drive. A donations box will be placed alongside the seating area at midfield, but donations will also be accepted at the same drop box in building 1R.
