GAMEDAY: BASEBALL HOSTS GOLDEY-BEACOM IN FIRST OUTING OF 2024 AT CSI BASEBALL COMPLEX

Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Baseball Team will play their first game of the 2024 season at the CSI Baseball Complex this afternoon as they host the Lightning of Goldey-Beacom College for a doubleheader beginning at 2:00 PM. The Dolphins are coming off four games at Staten Island University Hospital Community Park spread across each of the last two weekends. The team went 3-1 in those games to bring their record to 4-5 on the season. Their most recent outing saw a late lead get away in a loss to Caldwell University, 8-7. The Lightning are 9-7 on the year and most recently split a four-game series with Queens College last Thursday and Friday. CSI last faced Goldey-Beacom two seasons ago when the Lightning swept a doubleheader from the Dolphins, 10-2 and 5-4. With a victory in today's game, CSI Baseball Head Coach Michael Mauro reaches 300 wins in his career with the Dolphins.
