GAMEDAY: BASEBALL OPENS TWO-DAY, FOUR-GAME SERIES WITH LINCOLN UNIVERSITY

Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Baseball Team continues conference play this afternoon as they return home for a series-opening conference doubleheader against Lincoln University. The Dolphins come in with a record of 6-13 and are 1-3 in conference play following their four-game series with Mercy University last weekend. The Lions are 7-13 on the year and 1-3 against the ECC after losing three out of four to Queens College last week. The all-time series between CSI and Lincoln favors the Dolphins, 6-2. Last season, the Dolphins took three out of four from the Lions with the lone loss coming in a rain-shortened game that the CSI led when play was stopped. Because the game was never resumed, the score reverted back to the last full inning and the Lions won, 3-2.
