GAMEDAY: BASEBALL OPENS SERIES AGAINST QUEENS WITH SATURDAY DOUBLEHEADER

Flushing, NY - Following the cancelation of last night's scheduled series-opener at the CSI Baseball Complex, the College of Staten Island Baseball Team will begin their series against Queens College with a doubleheader today at 1:00 PM in Flushing. The Dolphins come in with a record of 11-16 and are 6-6 in conference play after dropping three of four games against Saint Thomas Aquinas last weekend. The Knights are 17-13 on the year and 7-5 against the ECC. In their last conference outing, the Knights dropped three of four games against D'Youville University. The all-time series between CSI and their CUNY rival dates all the way back to the 1970's and Queens leads 20-7. Entering today's doubleheader, Queens has won eight of the last nine meetings.
