GAMEDAY: BASEBALL OPENS FINAL ECC SERIES OF 2024 AGAINST MOLLOY

Uniondale, NY - The College of Staten Island Baseball Team will play their final East Coast Conference series of the 2024 season today as they open a four-game set on the road against Molloy University. The Dolphins come in with an overall record of 12-23 and are 7-13 in conference play following a four-game sweep at the hands of D'Youville last weekend. The Lions are 30-10 on the year and sit atop the ECC with a 12-4 conference record. The Dolphins remain mathematically alive in the playoff chase, but would only have a chance to qualify if the win all four games this weekend. The Lions are currently in locked in a battle for the top seed in the conference, and Molloy still has eight more conference games to play including their four-game series with the Dolphins. The lone CSI win against the Lions in the all-time series came in a decisive 11-0 Dolphins victory to open the season series in 2023.
