MEN'S SOCCER WELCOMES GROUP OF NINE 2024 COMMITS

Earlier today, the College of Staten Island Men's Soccer Team announced a group of nine committed players for the upcoming season. The nine players, who will all join the Dolphins for the 2024 season, includes plenty of talent from throughout the New York area and abroad. Of the nine, seven will gain their first collegiate experience when they take the pitch for the Dolphins as freshmen this season. Another arrives as a transfer and one more will be attending CSI as a graduate student. With this group of commits, the Dolphins have bolstered their depth at nearly every position and have done plenty to address the graduation of a highly talented senior class in 2023. Last season, the Men's Soccer Team made their debut in the East Coast Conference playoffs after clinching a playoff spot on the final day of the regular season. Overcoming an early red card and a one-goal deficit, the team tied the score at 1-1 in their first round postseason matchup against Queens College. However, their season ended in the closing seconds of that match with a game-winning goal by the eventual ECC Champion Knights.
