GAMEDAY: MEN'S SOCCER FACES BLOOMFIELD IN SECOND HOME CONTEST

Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Men's Soccer Team will host the second of three straight home matches to open their season when they take on the Bloomfield College Bears today at 4:00 PM. The Dolphins opened their season on Saturday afternoon with a 3-2 loss to Assumption University. The Bears opened their season on Thursday when dropped a 3-0 result to Southern Connecticut State University. Entering today's game, the Dolphins are unbeaten against the Bears in eight outings dating back to 1980. Recent history has seen the Dolphins defeat the Bears in each of the last three seasons by a combined score of 7-1. In 2021, the Bears scored their lone goal against the Dolphins in those meetings, but CSI took the win on a golden goal in the closing minutes of overtime, 2-1.
