GAMEDAY: MEN'S SOCCER OPENS CONFERENCE PLAY AT HOME AGAINST MERCY

Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Men's Soccer Team will play their conference opener at home this afternoon as they host the Mercy University Mavericks at 1:00 PM. The Dolphins lost their second consecutive one goal result on Wednesday against Bloomfield after a late penalty set up the Bears for a game-winning PK. The loss dropped the Dolphins to 0-2 on the season, and they will also be looking for their first-ever win against the Mavericks. Mercy enters today's matchup 1-0-1 following a draw in their opener against East Stroudsburg and a win over Adelphi on Tuesday. The Mavericks lead the all-time series against the Dolphins 5-0-2 with the most recent meeting ending in a draw last season.
