STATEN ISLAND, NY – The College of Staten Island women's soccer team enters the final stretch of the 2025 season with their last non-conference matchup, hosting Lincoln University (Pa.) on Wednesday afternoon at Dolphins Soccer Park. The Dolphins hold a 3-0 all-time series lead, having allowed just two goals across the three previous meetings.
In their most recent meeting in 2023, played in Staten Island, the Dolphins earned a decisive 5-1 victory; their largest win over the Lions after a dominant second half, highlighted by three crucial goals, sealed the result. CSI controlled the offensive tempo throughout, recording 30 shots, 18 on target, while limiting the Lions to just one shot, which resulted in their lone goal of the match.
The Dolphins enter the match with a 2-8-1 record, while the Lions sit at 0-8-1. CSI is aiming to snap its current losing streak ahead of Saturday's Senior Day conference matchup against Queens (NY). With five different players contributing goals this season and both goalkeepers recording double-digit saves, the Dolphins are prepared to battle through their final two home games, beginning today against Lincoln.
