STATEN ISLAND, NY – The College of Staten Island women's soccer team will host their senior day celebration for their graduating duo on Saturday afternoon against East Coast Conference (ECC) opponents, Queens College (NY), at Dolphins Soccer Park. 

Brianna Dore and Jillian Gardner will be honored for their contributions to the women's soccer program and their careers on the pitch prior to the start of this afternoon's match.

The Dolphins are coming off a record-breaking performance against Lincoln University (Pa.), where they netted 10 goals in a dominant non-conference victory. Annika Jurik recorded her first collegiate hat trick, while six different players scored and seven contributed assists. Phoebe Ossola led the team in assists, registering three on the day. The Knights tied in their last two contests, one against the regionally ranked Assumption Greyhounds on Oct. 14. 

In the previous meeting between the two teams, Queens earned a 4-2 victory after scoring three goals in the second half. The Knights opened the scoring just after the 11-minute mark, but Caitlyn Thompson responded almost immediately to neutralize the early lead. Queens is currently led by two players with two goals each, followed by three others who have scored once this season. For the Dolphins, Jurik leads the team with four goals after her hat trick on Wednesday, while Thompson follows closely with two. In goal, Brianna Dore leads the squad with 40 saves and recorded a shutout against the Lions.
