KINGS PARK, NY – The College of Staten Island men's and women's cross country team will be competing at the East Coast Conference (ECC) Championship race at Sunken Meadow Park in Kings Park, NY Saturday morning. 

Both the men's and women's teams have enjoyed success this season. On the women's side, Adriana Roa has consistently broken the 5K record and currently holds the top three times in the program's cross country record book. Other standout performers include Anna Carafiol and Mahwah Kouyate, who posted impressive times at the Fred Pavlich Invitational finishing 21st and 22nd respectively in the race aiding in the Dolphins' overall finish. The women's squad highest placement of the season was second at the Golden Eagle Invitational where the finished with a time of 22:30 for 91 points. 

On the men's side, freshmen Kevin Deyo and Peter Galletta have made impressive collegiate debuts. Deyo recorded a personal best of 32:13.6 at the Fred Pavlich Invitational, while Galletta posted a time of 28:47.0 — the third-fastest ever by a freshman in the CSI record book.
