STATEN ISLAND, NY - The College of Staten Island men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set to face Northeast-10 (NE10) opponent Saint Michael's College on Saturday afternoon in the first-ever dual meet between the two programs.
While the men's and women's teams have already competed against Saint Michael's during the 2024–25 season at the CSI Invitational, an event that also featured Mount Saint Mary College, Sarah Lawrence College, Baruch College, and Roberts Wesleyan University. This will mark their first head-to-head dual meet.
At the CSI Invitational, both the men's and women's teams from Saint Michael's (the Purple Knights) earned overall victories. The women posted a final score of 198.5, while the men finished with 187.0 points. For the College of Staten Island Dolphins, the women placed third with 96.5 points, and the men secured second place with a score of 152.5.
CSI now has three meets under its belt this season, following yesterday's NE10 matchup against Adelphi and Felician. Meanwhile, the Purple Knights opened their season last week with a meet against Keene State where both men's and women's boasted commanding victories.
