GAMEDAY: MEN'S BASKETBALL BATTLES QUEENS ON SENIOR DAY FOR THE RIGHT TO HOST ECC PLAYOFF GAME

Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Men's Basketball Team will play a high-stakes regular season finale on Senior Day this afternoon as they battle the Queens College Knights at 3:00 PM. Both CSI and Queens enter the day 7-8 in conference play, and the winner of today's game will earn a first-round home game in the ECC playoffs. The loser will finish as either the five or six seed in the conference playoffs and will have no chance of hosting a game in the opening round. Overall, both teams come in with identical 11-16 records on the season. Earlier in the year, Queens held on in the closing minutes to outlast CSI, 65-61. This gave the Knights a 4-3 lead in the all-time series and snapped a three-game CSI winning streak against Queens. Ahead of today's game, the Dolphins will recognize four seniors, Shemar Latty, Chris Clancy, Justin Zieris, and Messiah Mallory. Fans should arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled 3:00 PM tipoff to ensure they catch the entire Senior Day presentation.
