GAMEDAY: BASEBALL CONTINUES FOUR-GAME SET AGAINST MOLLOY COMING OFF THURSDAY WALK-OFF WIN

Uniondale, NY - The College of Staten Island Baseball Team will continue their four-game set with Molloy University this afternoon as they hit the road for a doubleheader against the Lions at 12:00 PM. The Dolphins come in 6-16 on the season and 1-0 in conference play following a walk-off win over the Lions on Thursday at the CSI Baseball Complex. Molloy is 9-8 on the year and 0-1 in conference play entering action today. In Thursday's game, the Dolphins led 4-0 after the first inning and 6-3 through four. However, Molloy came from behind to take a 7-6 lead in the seventh before the Dolphins tied the game with four straight walks. With the game still tied at seven in the tenth, the Lions issued one final bases loaded walk to force home the winning run in an 8-7 Dolphins victory. Chris Polemeni finished the game with three hits including a two-run homer to lead the way offensively, and Jack Kehoe earned the win with three scoreless innings of relief. The CSI win was the first against Molloy since 2023 and snapped a four-game Molloy winning streak against the Dolphins.
