MESSIAH MALLORY ADDS TO LIST OF ACCOLADES WITH ALL-MET SECOND TEAM SELECTION

It was announced today that Messiah Mallory has been named to the All-Met Second Team by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association. The All-Met selection is the latest in a long list of accolades for the Men's Basketball senior who helped lead the Dolphins to a berth in the East Coast Conference Champinship Semifinal. Mallory will join both D2 Women's Basketball Player of the Year Jenalyse Alarcon and D2 Women's Baksetball Coach of the Year Nicole Sarcone in being recognized at the 92^nd Annual Haggerty Awards Dinner on Thursday, April 24^th.

Mallory was named the ECC Preseason Player of the Year ahead of the 2024-2025 season and ended his career with another outstanding season for Men's Basketball. Mallory led the team in scoring with 14.6 points per game and in rebounding with 7.4 rebounds per game. He was also a three-time ECC Defensive Player of the Week and was named ECC Player of the Week once. Mallory helped lead the Dolphins to the postseason for the third straight year, and he departs as one of the the best two-way players in the history of the Men's Basketball program.
