SWIMMING & DIVING EARNS CSCAA SCHOLAR ALL-AMERICA TEAM RECOGNITION FOR SPRING 2025

7/4/2025 8:00:00 AM

It was announced earlier this week that the College of Staten Island Swimming & Diving Team has been named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2025 semester.  Both the CSI men and women were among 763 teams from 432 institutions to receive the honor that was bestowed upon programs with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.  For the CSI women, ten Dolphins contributed to a team GPA of 3.57 in the Spring semester.  For the CSI men, ten Dolphins contributed to a 3.17 GPA.

Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, praised the honorees. "These teams exemplify what it means to be true student-athletes," she said.  "Their dedication to academic excellence, alongside their athletic commitments, is both impressive and inspiring. The CSCAA is proud to recognize and celebrate their hard work and achievement.".

CSCAA Scholar All-America recognition remains a constant for the Swimming & Diving program that has received several academic accolades in just the last month. First, Men's Swimming & Diving received and Academic Team Excellence award in mid-June.  One week later, the Northeast-10 announced their Academic Honor Roll, a list that included 24 Dolphins.  You can view the official CSCAA release containing all ot this year's Scholar All-America teams here.
